Aptec Concludes Avaya IP Office Roadshow
Distributor expands Avaya Agreements to sell Enterprise Data Products.
Dubai, UAE, 11th April 2011 – Aptec Holdings, one of the
largest technology distributors in the Middle East,
Pakistan, Turkey & Africa, ended its Avaya IPOffice
roadshow in Dubai on a high note. The event saw more
than 70 partners geared up and trained to sell Avaya
solutions in the Middle East. Resellers at the event
were greeted by Avaya and Aptec’s senior management to
increase their familiarity with the companies’ channel
programs and product offerings. Built from the ground up
specifically for small and medium-size businesses, Avaya
IP Office delivers the communications capabilities that
big business are used to, with the elegant simplicity
and ease of use that small businesses consider a
“must-have”.
Aptec also expanded its distribution agreement with
Avaya, which now allows it to sell and promote Avaya’s
enterprise data products in the Gulf region.
Shiboo Baby -Aptec’s Business Unit Manager for
Networking, said, “IP telephony is growing in
importance, with the web intruding into daily business
life. In addition to the wide range of solutions that
Avaya already offers in the SMB space, these new
offerings and features now make it possible for anyone
in this sector to install an IP telephony system to
maximise communication. We consider these roadshows as
unique platforms to meet and greet both existing and
newly-recruited Avaya partners”.

Avaya IP Office helps in improving ease-of-use and
worker productivity for SME workers, and generates
significant new efficiencies for businesses. Via Avaya
IP Office, companies will be able to accelerate unified
communications and contact center technologies in the
SME market, helping SMEs compete more effectively, but
in a cost-conscious manner.
Aptec and Avaya also held hands on-technical training
for 3 days to train engineers in the Middle East on
Avaya’s products and technologies.
