Dubai, UAE, 1 March 2010 – Aptec, the leading technology distributor in Middle East, Pakistan, Turkey & Africa, has been voted for the second year running as “The 2010 Middle East and North Africa Distributor of the Year” at the 2nd ‘EMEA Channel Academy: 2010 Awards’. The ‘EMEA Channel Academy: 2010 Awards’ held in Monaco last week included 10 separate award categories for distributors. The awards, now in their second year, were held in association with DISTREE XXL – EMEA’s premier channel event. More than 800 channel executives rolled up to the big top for an action-packed evening of live electronic voting, circus acts, fine dining and channel networking.

A jury of EMEA-level vendor executives voted live during the Gala Dinner to select the winners for each award. Vendors nominated distributors based on a number of criteria including sales growth, channel breadth, credit facilities, financing, stock management, logistics, market development and reseller engagement
