Aptec at Gitex Dubai 2001, 3rd November 2001

Dubai, October 14th-18th 2001, Aptec's 4th consecutive year participating in this prestigious event and see it pay back.
Over 600 exhibitors took part in this year's Gitex representing 1500 companies from 35 countries. Gitex Dubai reinforced its position as the third largest IT show in the world & Aptec reinforced its position as one of the leading distributors in the region.

Aptec enjoyed a 175-sq. meter stand in the main exhibitors' halls, attracting the interest of many of its' existing customers as well as new ones.

" Aptec takes its' presence at Gitex Dubai very seriously", said Mr. Bahaa Salah, General Manager Aptec Gulf, Levant & Africa, "Gitex Dubai is the perfect platform for meeting both customers and vendors. It is a time when the channel has a chance to take its relationship to a higher level" he continued.

Aptec's stand has seen new records in terms of visitors' turnout, especially from Africa, Gulf & Levant, and number of business deals made. Products were displayed in their appropriate category of software, hardware, networking, components and mobiles. The general feeling at Aptec's stand was that more IT professionals and quality visitors attended the show this year.
