Aptec Distribution, part of Aptec Holdings Limited,
Middle East, Turkey & Africa’s largest technology
distributor, today began the first in a series of
extensive training for its Avaya partners on its range
of SMB solutions. The seven-day, hands-on training
session includes five days of IP office training and two
days on Avaya’s call centre solutions.
“In line with our continued investment in support for
our Avaya partners, we have embarked on a series of
training sessions aimed at equipping our partners with
the knowledge, and skills to tap into the lucrative SMB
segment,” said Sabbahuddin Khan, Networking Business
Unit Manager at Aptec Distribution.
The first session was held in Dubai with a second
session planned in the next few months. All the trainees
would be trained by qualified & certified trainers on
the partners’ own demo equipment, providing practical
hands-on experience.
Both Avaya and Aptec are encouraging
interested channel partners to register with Aptec and
book their demo units for the training sessions.
Khalid Khan, SMB Manager at Avaya MENA, said, “Avaya
emphasizes the importance of technically certified
resources at distributors so that the resellers can be
fully supported on pre-sales and post-sales both. Aptec
plays a key role in expanding its business and partner
base for the SMB range of products in the GCC markets
(except Saudi Arabia & Bahrain).”
Aptec recently expanded its Avaya team to offer channel
partners with pre-sales support, proof of concepts and
technical trainings.
