APTEC/Nortel Launch SME Partner Roadshow.

Aptec Distribution, the regional distributor for leading IT products along with Nortel held the First Nortel/Aptec SME Roadshow in Dubai @ the Mourooj Rotana Hotel & Suites on the 12th of March 2007, to an enthusiastic welcome as the Nortel team presented the Best of the breed solution for data and voice networking meant for SME Business to a large audience of over 50 SME System Integrators. Even more impressive was the roster of high profile attendees, which included top decision makers from System Integration Companies.

“We would like to thank the channel for the impressive turnout, there was a very clear message that we tried to put across and that is “we are looking for strong partners in the UAE, GCC & Levant to carry out our plans. We have already started the drive with the road show here in Dubai, and in the beginning of April we are organizing a Boot camp which will emphasize on the technical trainings and certifications. We strongly believe that the way to capture the SME market is through Lead generation programs, Innovative channel programs and regular trainings, and we will continue to do so” - said Shailendra Sainani -Business Unit Manager, Networking - Aptec Distribution.

Further to the Nortel’s Roadshow, Aptec/Nortel will take next step to provide Nortel SBE partners with technical training. Nortel/Aptec has planned to conduct SMB & SME technical trainings towards early next month. This is an extensive, hands on technical training that will cover pre sales and post sales aspects of the Nortel SME portfolio. Partners are requested to attend this training with the demo equipment so that they can perform live examples.
