APTEC Signs up with Nortel as Distributor for Middle East..

   APTEC, the Middle East’s leading IT & Telecommunication Distributor today announced that it has signed an agreement with Nortel to distribute their SMB range of Voice and Data product portfolio.

   Amanulla Khan, Nortel's Distribution and SMB Manager said “Aptec was selected based on Nortel's stringent measurement criteria including reseller reach, credibility, history in distribution, pre-sales and post-sales technical resource, stocking points, financial strength and credit facilities to the resellers”

  “Aptec has been trained and certified by Nortel before they could become a full fledge distribution partner and are now ready to take Nortel's SMB offerings to the market place and support resellers on Nortel SMB solutions” he Added.

   “We are all excited about this new partnership, we look at it as a challenge as Nortel is a very well known brand in Corporate /Enterprise Channel segment, now introducing the Distribution model as well as tackling SMB / SME Channel is where Aptec can add value to the Nortel business.” said Bahaa Salah, Managing Director, APTEC Distribution Fz.

   Nortel & Aptec will be running reseller road shows in March'07 to educate resellers on Nortel's SMB Voice and Data solutions and SMB partner program which will differentiate their resellers in the crowded market place and improve reseller profitability. Selected reseller partners will be invited to join Nortel's SMB partner program. The First being held on the 12th March 2007, in Dubai, UAE.
