Aptec Distribution FZ LLC, part of Aptec Holdings, one of the largest technology distributors in Middle East, Turkey & Africa’s, launched special business critical solution blocks addressing different vertical markets like manufacturing, education, retail, public sector, government, and financial services; to name a few. The solutions were introduced at a special one-day seminar entitled “Business Critical Solutions 2009” jointly hosted with HP and Independent Software Vendors (ISV) on the last day of Gitex 2008.

The road show is in line with Aptec’s plans to proactively recruit partners for VMware in the Middle East. In Kuwait, McAfee was also included in the seminar while NetApp and Symantec joined VMware in the seminar in Riyadh.

The agreement covers the complete range of commercial and enterprise products from Dell including Optiplex desktops, Latitude notebooks, server and storage hardware, as well as its Vostro line-up designed for the SMB market. Aptec is also authorized to distribute Dell’s award winning range of PowerEdge Server products.
